Salvation Army Emergency Shelter Extends Hours Due To Cold Weather

The Salvation Army Emergency Shelter in San Angelo offers extended hours for guests as temperatures drop.
The shelter is available to anyone who needs a place to stay when temperatures are below 40 degrees. Major Adriana Martinez says that guests are now allowed to stay longer in the mornings. The shelter is free of charge and guests only need to bring photo identification and fill out an application to stay. Warm meals, restrooms, and showers are also provided. The Salvation Army Emergency Shelter is located at 122 W. 2nd St. in San Angelo.
